The Poetry of Balance

Laurent “LO” Martin´s delicade bamboo sculptures aresuspended and activated by the air, transfixed by light.The artist describes the lightness and flexibility of the material as “poetic”. Intricate srands of carefully hewn bamboo swirl overhead as mobiles or sits precariously on tint points in the artist´s quest to balance elementsor mathematics, physics, and the sensuousnessof natural materials.
